INTRODUCTION

PAPILLON is a Aristo Blue Awlgripped, waterjet-drive/JetStick® Hinckley Picnic boat that offers comfortable accommodations for two with sleeping berths and stowage, head with shower, and a well-equipped galley.

Entertainment electronics:

Alpine FM/Cassette with 6-CD changer has four speakers, two below and two in the pilothouse.

Construction: Hull is Kevlar E-glass hybrid and balsa core, SCRIMPed with vinylester resin. Deck and cockpit are E-glass and balsa core, SCRIMP molded with polyester resin. The deck and cockpit sole have a molded-in nonskid pattern.

Solid teak 2" bowsprit finished with high gloss varnish and through-mounted Simpson Lawrence bow roller.

Heavy-duty fiberglass swim platform has teak insert treads, stainless steel bracket and half round, and a stainless steel folding swim ladder.

INTERIOR BELOW:

Down the companionway steps from the pilothouse, the interior plan includes:

The interior is finished in satin-varnished cherry, including sheathing. The cabin sole is varnished teak and holly and there is a cabin sole cover.

Opening overhead hatch and all hatches have removable screens.

(5) Frigast stainless steel 12-volt lamps that provide plenty of interior lighting.

Espar D3L diesel heater - (optional upgrade) with ducts in the main cabin, head and pilothouse.

GALLEY:

The Galley features a Magna Sahara Corian countertop and a Glacier White Corian sink with Grohe fixtures and pressure hot & cold fresh water system. Other galley features include:

Adler-Barbour refrigeration – 12-volt cold plate refrigerator in a self-draining box

Force 10 two-burner stove w/remote propane shut-off and wood cover

The stove is set in the countertop forward and has a custom wood stove cover, which adds to the already ample counter space surrounding the sink.

Adler-Barbour refrigeration is mounted aft of the sink and is accessed by a lift-up top.

A forward “pantry” locker has a louvered door and several shelves.

A remote propane shut-off.

Under the galley sink is additional storage and a pullout trash bin.

Cushions are upholstered in Sunbrella Navy/Taupe Stripe fabric that accentuate the varnished cherry interior.

Excellent storage under the V-berths has easy access cherry drop-front doors with cherry shelves and in the forepeak behind a louvered cherry door.

COMMENTS

PAPILLON has been Hinckley maintained and stored indoors. She is loaded with options including an Ocean PC based navigation system with internet access at the helm, and a large (12" navigation screen. She was re-painted in by Hinckley and has the updated Rolls Royce JetStick computer, and a bimini. Here present owner of 16 years has had her in freshwater during the summer months and then winter stored in a heated shed.  Her Yanmar power plant was completely rebuilt in 2021 by Mack boring and has approximately 125 hours of use. She is a beautifully maintained boat.
